Bart Stevens-Drums and Vocals

Hello,

It’s true I have been drumming since he was just four years old. “It’s something I have always done”. Although I took lessons, I attribute most of what I know to spending hours and hours figuring out and playing many of the best progressive rock songs from the 60’s and 70’s. “Playing in Frequenzy comes easily because I played most of the songs as a kid”.  I started singing several years ago when I began to write and record songs in my home studio. “I’m a perfectionist. I would record over and over until I got it right. Then I would add harmonies. What a blast! Hearing myself forced me to improve. Otherwise, I couldn’t have taken it. I’ve played with many people over the years, but I really enjoy the chemistry with the members of Frequenzy. “We all get along very well. We have a good time together whether we are rehearsing or performing. I look forward to a lot of good times with Frequenzy. I hope you’ll come out and have a good time with us.”

Mike Hall–Keyoards and Vocals

Hi,

My name is Mike Hall. I play the keyboards and sing vocals for Frequenzy. I’ve been playing the piano since I was 10 years old, when I taught myself to play on a player piano. I was classically trained at Peabody Conservatory. My appreciation for the arts comes from my father’s side of the family; he was a dance instructor with my Aunt Betty. My influences include Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Steve Miller, Duran Duran, etc. Since high school I’ve played with Snake Eyes, The Alleged, Speakeazy, Planet B, Rick Taylor, and How’s My Hat. Then, after a brief retirement, I joined up with Frequenzy (we actually started playing-out before we came up with a name.) I really appreciate playing with the fellas, we have an awesome song list, with a lot of variety. During the day I am a hardscaper. I also teach piano part time.

Well, that’s a little bit about me, hope to see you at the show! Look for my Fleetwood at a Frequenzy gig near you!!

P.S. Hi Mom!

Greeting all,

This is Jay , guitar and vocals for Frequenzy.  I have a long history of playing in cover bands around Cecil County.  Have you heard of any of these bands?  I started out in high school playing with a band called Black Canyon.  Soon to follow I was with Even Exchange.  What A blast we had.  Other bands included Magnum, Montana, and Crossfire.  Most recently I played with DayTripper.  Can you tell I like to play?

My influences include Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Foghat, Black Sabbath Etc….  I love to see people having fun and enjoying music as much as I do.  I feel lucky to have hooked up with the guys in Frequenzy.  Come on out and join the fun.

Hi there! My name is Randy and I'm Co-Lead Guitarist for FREQUENZY! I started playing guitar when I was 8 years old. I had my first band at 14 called "Flamethrower" which was cool, just me and some local kids. Later down the line when I was 18 I started my first serious band called Stonehenge. It started out as a pop-rock band and turned totally hair metal until 1990 when it went back to top 40 rock mixed with still a little metal, (you never totally lose that edge!!) In '93 I decided to try something new, country! I had a band called Heartbreak Station (again a reference to an old Cinderella song!!). We had a lot of success and stayed booked all the time. The one compliment I used to really love after a show was "my country didn’t sound so twangy!! it had an edge!" Then again in 1999, the call of the wild lured me back to the rock scene with my band Excalibur that played in our area and at the beaches. But now, I'm hooked up with these guys and feel right at home rocking out with five of the most awesome, fun, and inspiring musicians ever!!
